A visitor’s visa is the easiest visa to obtain. It is valid for a period of 90 days and is renewable within South Africa for a further 90 days.
B; Application process to apply for a student visa
The application process for a study permit can be very quick and easy, if you supply all the necessary documents required by the South African embassy, if not, it can be a very lengthy process, please apply for your as as soon as possible.
In order to apply for a study visa in your country you will have to pay your tuition fees upfront, this is a Department of Home Affairs requirement and not ours.
We will send you a letter confirming that we have accepted you as a student and you are a registered with us.
The requirements for a study visa vary from time to time and it is best to go to this website to find the most up to date information. http://www.home-affairs.gov.za/index.php/applying-for-sa-visa. However you probably will need the following documentation.
1.An acceptance letter – proof of registration at The Acorn Institute: English Language School.
2.Proof of payment for registration (deposit slip from your bank)
3.(A Police clearance certificate.)
4.In most cases a repatriation deposit / return ticket.
5.Bank statements as proof of financial sustainability in South Africa.
6.Medical Certificates (x2)
7.Proof that you have Medical Insurance
